novaquarks.com is operated by Cristian J. Castro-Toledo, doing business as NovaQuarks, an individual merchant registered in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Using the site means accepting these terms and the privacy policy.
What this site is
An introduction to our work. Reading it, or writing to us through it, creates no client relationship and binds neither side to anything.
Work with NovaQuarks begins only under a separate written agreement, signed by both sides. Where that agreement and these terms ever disagree about the work, the agreement governs. Nothing on this site adds to it, subtracts from it, or stands in for it.
What is ours
The text, the design, the marks, and the nq monogram on this site belong to NovaQuarks.
Read it, quote it with attribution, and link to it freely. Do not reproduce it commercially or present it as your own.
What we ask of you
Use the site as a site. Do not probe it, disrupt it, scrape it at scale, or try to reach the systems behind it.
Where the site sends you
The client portal is a separate service with its own terms. A link from here is a door, not an endorsement of everything behind it.
What we do not promise
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, and we promise neither. Nothing here is professional advice.
To the fullest extent the law allows, NovaQuarks is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site, and its total liability for any claim arising from these terms will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
Where you engage NovaQuarks for work, that agreement governs what is promised and what is owed, and its terms replace this section for anything to do with the work.
What we ask if something goes wrong because of you
If your use of this site breaks these terms or the law, and that causes a claim against us, you cover the cost of it, including reasonable legal fees.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If a dispute arises, both sides first try to settle it directly, in good faith, for thirty days. What remains goes to binding arbitration in Puerto Rico, unless both sides agree in writing to somewhere else. Either side may still go to court to stop immediate harm.
The rest
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stands and that part is narrowed to what the law allows. Not enforcing a term once does not waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; NovaQuarks may transfer its own in a merger or sale.
When these terms change
If these terms change, the revised version appears on this page with a new effective date at the top.
